The Latin American Cultural Union (LACU) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization
whose mission is:

1.    To preserve and enrich the cultural identity of its members;
2. To cultivate Latin American cultural and artistic manifestation, such as music, dance, visual arts, crafts, literature, and other academic expressions;
3. To convey Latin American artistic expressions and cultural values to the Pittsburgh community and beyond.

    Organización Americana que ayuda a gente necesitada aquí en Pittsburgh

     Salvation Army de Pittsburgh y Allegheny County
    La organización Salvation Army de Pittsburgh y Allegheny County provee ayuda y
    servicios a familias e individuos que se vean en necesidad a consecuencia de emergencias
    como crisis económica o desastres.  Recomendaciones de iglesias y otras agencias son
    aceptadas y personas interesadas pueden solicitar servicios en cualquier momento.  
    El Salvation Army ofrece los siguientes servicios: ayuda de alimentos, ayuda de ropa,
    ayuda en casos de emergencia y desastres, ayuda para familias en crisis, Bundle up-program
    (programa que ofrece abrigos para niños durante el invierno, y campamentos de niños
    durante el verano.
    Todas las solicitudes de servicios son manejadas en forma confidencial. Toda persona o
    familia que se vea en crisis o emergencia  puede solicitar ayuda.  Para mas información o
    para sacar una cita llame al 412-394-4886.  Horas: Miércoles, jueves y viernes de
    9 am- 12pm.
