SPANISH STORYTIME: Cuentos y Canciones en Español The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh in Oakland and Volunteers from PNC Bank are hosting a monthly Spanish Storytime.  Children will hear stories in Spanish complete a related arts and crafts project.  This storytime is for all ages and will be done in the Spanish language. It is for those who know and understand Spanish, for those who would like to hear this language, or for those who want something different!

Every Sunday leadership program at St. Paul's Cathedral, Synod Hall will focus on the “ILLUSION OF RACE”…  It runs until April 2.  It begins at 1 pm and goes to 3:30 pm. and will consist of the viewing of an excerpt from the PBS production of the “Illusion of Race” which focuses on how racist practices were legalized in American policies toward citizenship and housing.  If You would like a preview of this in advance, check out www.pbs.org/race .  The viewing will be followed by a panel which consists of African-American, Latinos and Asians who will comment on the video.  Synod Hall is next door to St Paul's Cathedral on Craig St.  You enter through the Craig St. door.  It is free.
