I am an educator at South Hills Middle School in Pittsburgh. We are hosting a multi-cultural fair here at the school on Saturday, August 26th from 1-4 pm. Our goal is to educate the children and adults, of the communities in which we serve, about the many different cultures that exist in their communities and also around the world. We plan on having stations/tents set up of the different cultures consisting of artifacts, photos, history, possibly food, etc. Anything that will help educate the people of these communities. I am hoping that you could assist me in making this program a success. As educators we believe that the children and adults practice prejudice and discrimination out of sheer ignorance and it is our job to teach those who lack this knowledge. Thank you for your time.
