What is Aerotek? We are a staffing provider that focuses on placing people in long term positions. This makes us different from “temp” agencies because most of our positions will lead into a full-time position with the company.  Who’s Hiring and Where are they Located?: One of our clients is ADVO, located next to the Robinson Town Center.

Job Requirements:  This position requires a GED/Highschool diploma, passing a drug test prior to employment (paid for by us), and passing a background check (a qualified candidate cannot have any felonies in the past 7 years – also paid for by us). This position is not on the busline, so transportation is required. The position is an entry level job, so no experience is required. We are looking for motivated, hard workers that are willing to learn new things and grow with a successful company.   Shifts/Days:  We have day (7:25am-6pm – over-time until 7:30pm) and night (8:25pm – 6:55am) shifts available. They work 4 days a week, 10 hours each day. The day shift could be extended an extra 1 ½ hours for the overtime bringing the time to 7:30pm. The night shift will not have over-time after their shift; they would have to come in on a Monday to do overtime. The night shift is regularly Tuesday – Friday (over-time on Monday). The day shifts are: Monday- Thursday, Tuesday – Friday, Wednesday – Saturday, Thursday – Sunday, Friday – Monday, Saturday – Tuesday, and Sunday – Wednesday. You will have to be on the set schedule and work the same 4 days each week, it will not rotate. However, please keep in mind that flexibility is preferred because in most cases ADVO will have to move your schedule to hire you on permanently.

Pay Rate: If you work on the night shift it is $8.50/hr, and the day shift is $8.50/hr if you work on a Saturday or Sunday and $8.00/hr if you work day shift on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Benefits are also available. Job Description: The position will require repetitive lifting up to 40lbs, prolonged standing, and repetitive work. They will be lifting up advertisements and feeding the machines with the advertisements. They will also be taking the advertisements off the machine, banding them, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping.
