LACU NUEVAS 15 de JUNIO, 2004. Weekly e-bulletin. On June 11-13, 2004, LACU organized the I Latino Youth Leadership Camp in Pymatunning State Park. Thanks to Juanita Roman who was the successful leader of the camp. Eight young Latino men and women participated on the contests, writing the essay, “What does it mean to be a Latino in the U.S.?”, hiking, swimming, learning about nature, etc. At the end, each participant got a certificate of completion. Thanks also to the 3 Adults-volunteers who helped this year. We will organize the II one next year. ****************************************** From: Spanish Language Meetup [mailto:info@meetup.com] Tuesday, Jun 15 @ 7PM.
